The spring athletic seasons ended prematurely for our 2020 class of seniors. Though unable to give them the send-off they deserve, Greenville University appreciates their participation in its Athletic program and wishes them well in all their future endeavors.
The baseball team continued their spring break trip with a doubleheader sweep over Suffolk on Thursday. The Panthers won game one 10-8 and took a 7-3 victory in game two.
The baseball team provided head coach Lynn Carlson with his 500th career win after a come-from-behind effort that saw them tie the game with two outs in the top of the ninth on an error and then take the victory with a four run 10th inning.

The baseball team lost a pair of games on Saturday in Georgia. The Panthers fell 12-6 to Rhodes in their first game and dropped a 6-1 game to Berry in the second game.
The baseball team opened their season on Friday afternoon with an 8-3 loss at Oglethorpe. The Panthers fell behind 5-0 in the bottom of the second inning when Oglethorpe was the beneficiary of five unearned runs, and Greenville could not make up the deficit.
