FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. -- The cheerleading program attended the Christian Cheerleaders of America Christian Cheer Nationals.  The team came away with a first place, National Champion title, trophy and banner in the Large Coed division. Hoguey, the Panther, also came away with a national title and some hardware!

Panther cheer also came away with the Grand National Champion award. This award is given by classification (college), regardless of division (small coed, large coed, all-girl, etc.). That means the cheer team had the highest scoring routine of all colleges!

"We are super excited to have such an amazing outcome in the first competition in program history," said head coach Sean Washington.  "If you would like, you can come by the Athletic Offices to see the trophy and banners!"
