Football routs Martin Luther 63-12

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The football team grabbed a huge 63-12 win over Martin Luther on Saturday as the Panthers took control in the first quarter and maintained it throughout the game.

Greenville had nine touchdowns on the afternoon.

Quarterback George Harris passed for 259 yards and five touchdowns.  John Dudley caught two of Harris' touchdown passes.  The other touchdown receptions went to Eric Kranh, Corbin Quinonez, and Derek Griefzu.

Hamid Camara rushed 17 times for 148 yards and a touchdown.

David Kerley ran the ball in twice for touchdowns and Harris had one.

Nicholas Morrow led the Panther defense with eight tackles, including one for a loss of yards.

Isaiah Coleman recovered two fumbles, and Lincoln Johnson, Jeremy Howard, Kasey Richardson, and Justin Howard had the other fumble recoveries.

Connor Earleywine and Johnson sacked the quarterback.

The Panthers (2-6, 2-5 UMAC) travel to Northwestern for a game next Saturday.
