Football runs past Crown 41-14

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The football team collected a 41-14 win over Crown during its Homecoming game on Saturday afternoon at Francis Field.

The Panthers piled up 529 yards of total offense as they jumped out to a 21-0 lead in the first half and rolled to the victory.

Eric Kranh posted four touchdowns on the afternoon, scoring two on receptions and two rushing.

Courtney Mitchell and Daniel McCloud also added rushing scores.

The Greenville offense ran for 371 yards in the contest.  Mitchell was the leading rusher with 186 yards on 26 carries.  In just three games, Mitchell has already surpassed 500 yards.

Kranh ran for 65 yards and caught five passes for 104 yards.  He broke off a 51 yard touchdown run and a 54 yard reception TD.

Dalton Mitchell completed 12-of-25 passes for 158 yards.

The Panther defense was led by Anthony Esquivel with 11 tackles.

Brock Bullar added an interception, and Herman Esquivel posted two and a half tackles for a loss.  He combined with Brandon Martin for a quarterback sack.

The Panthers (2-5, 2-3 UMAC) host MacMurray next Saturday at 1 p.m. in Greenville.
