Men's basketball suffers loss at Eureka

EUREKA, Ill. -- The men's basketball team received a career high 21 points from Isiah Price, but it was not enough to overcome a Eureka unit that had redemption on their mind as Greenville fell by a 131-109 final.  During the 2016-17 season, the Panthers took a pair of three point wins over the Red Devils.

The Panthers led as late as seven minutes into the game, but Eureka took over as they led Greenville 63-47 at halftime.

Johari Dix ended with 16 points and four assists.

Barry Nixon totaled 14 points and eight rebounds.

The Panthers only made 39-of-113 shots, including a mark of 17-of-61 behind the three-point line.

Eureka shot 48-of-83 from the field to end with a 57.8 percent mark.
