GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's basketball team controlled Monday night's basketball game from beginning to end as they captured a 126-97 win over Spalding in contest that had been rescheduled from January 13.

The Panthers led for all but the first 75 seconds of the contest -- which is how long it took for Vari Bonney to make the first bucket of the game.

Greenville's lead hit 39 points late in the second half, and they held a 63-37 advantage at halftime.

Daniel Saeli finished as Greenville's leading scorer with a high game of just 16 points.

Bonney provided 16 points and contributed seven rebounds.

Johari Dix totaled a 15 point evening and passed out nine assists.

Greenville forced 32 turnovers and grabbed 20 steals.

They made 52 percent of their shots (52-of-99), and they were 17-of-43 from three-point territory.

The Panthers (11-6, 8-2 SLIAC) are in first place all alone with second place Eureka one-game back.  Greenville goes to Westminster for a game Wednesday night at 8 p.m.
