SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The men's golf team concluded their season with an 11th place finish at the Illinois College match at The Rail.
The two-day event featured participating teams from the midwest, and Greenville posted a score of 870.
Greenville's top score in the two-day event was by Tyler Thorpe on Saturday. His 89 coupled with a 91 on Friday, gave him a score of 180 to lead Greenville's team. He was 47th in the field.
Greenville's No. 2 was Joshua Jackson with a 223 (107-116), the team's third best score was a 228 (119-109) by Ransom Cochrane, and the final scorer was Chris Brooks with a 245 (129-116).
The Panthers concluded their first season by competing against 40 teams and finishing eighth in the SLIAC championships.
