Dany Baker was named head men's and women's golf coach in 2015.  The programs will begin their first season of competition in 2016 after using the 2015-16 school year to recruit student-athletes.  Greenville College has reinstituted men's golf after a 15 year absence and has created the women's program which will compete for the first time.

A golf coach for six years at Hillsboro High School, Baker has endeavored to coach golf at the college level to impact more experienced players.

Since experiencing an injury that left him unable to walk, Baker has used his challenge to help others.  Over the last 20 years, he has been a SoloRider representative.  He has also spent 18 years on the St. Louis Society for Disabled Children/Life Bridges Sports Camp staff and spoken at the Midwest Symposium for Therapeutic Recreation for 15 years.  He received the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Midwest Symposium.

For six years, he has been a Boots on the Green organizer.

He volunteered at the Missouri Amputee Golf Association for three years and the National Alliance on Accessible Golf for two years.

He was nominated for the Casey Martin Award which was sponsored by Nike.

Baker resides in Coffeen, Ill., and has four children - sons Tony, Nic, and Alex and daughter Lesley, a tournament director for two LPGA events and one Senior Tour.
