ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced Nick Holland as its defensive player of the week for the week of September 4-10.

Holland, a sophomore from Ajax, Ontario, recorded eight saves and one shutout last week while allowing just one goal.

The lone goal he allowed came after 75 scoreless minutes against Rose-Hulman, making two saves in the game.

He followed with his first career shutout in a six save effort against Coe. He finished the week with a .889 save percentage.

The Panthers (2-2) host Millikin on Wednesday night at 7 p.m.
