Men's soccer hangs tight with Webster in shutout loss

FENTON, Mo. -- The men's soccer team challenged Webster for the entire match, but they allowed a goal in the 63rd minute as they were handed a 1-0 shutout loss on Tuesday.

Greenville had a number of scoring opportunities as they collected 15 shots in the match.

Edgar Bueno and Caleb Carpenter each led the match particpants with four shots.

Goalkeeper Jesus Hernandez faced 13 shots, including nine on goal, and had eight saves.

The Panthers (7-11, 2-6 SLIAC) travel to Blackburn on Saturday for their final match of the season.
