Men's soccer pushes winning streak to five

LINCOLN, Ill. - The men's soccer team recorded their fifth straight win with a 7-0 shutout at Lincoln Christian on Saturday.

The Panthers received a pair of goals from Friday night's hero Jared McPeek who had the game-winning score for the third time over the last four matches.  McPeek also added an assist.

McPeek's fourth and fifth goals this season came in the fifth and 10th minutes.

Caleb Mulholland, Juan Jose Herranz, Pierre St. Vil, Sebastian Rojas, and Jonathan Moyo also scored for the Panthers.

Goalkeepers Jesus Hernandez and Noah Matthews combined for the shutout.  Matthews recorded one save.

The Panthers (5-1) play at Moody Bible on Tuesday afternoon in Chicago.
