JACKSONVILLE, Ill. - The men's soccer team suffered a 2-1 loss at MacMurray on Saturday as Napoleon Urquidi scored for GU.

Greenville held an advantage on the offensive attack, taking 17 shots compared to seven from MacMurray.

MacMurray took the early lead with a goal in the fifth minute, but Napoleon Urquidi tied it at 1-1 in the sixth minute.

In the 52nd minute, MacMurray recorded the match-winning goal.

Jared McPeek and Andres Dos Santos each had four shots to lead the Panthers.

Goalkeeper Nick Holland faced four shots on goal, allowing two goals and collecting two saves.

The physical match ended with the teams combining for 25 fouls and seven yellow cards.

The Panthers (6-6, 2-1 SLIAC) travel to Principia for a match on Tuesday at 8 p.m.
