Men's soccer allows second half goals in loss at Principia

ELSAH, Ill. - The men's soccer team permitted two second half goals as they lost 2-0 at Principia on Tuesday night.

Greenville battled all night on defense as Principia managed 23 shots including eight shots on goal.

Goalkeeper Nick Holland was busy, collecting six saves in 90 minutes.

Principia posted goals in the 52nd and 81st minutes to win the match.

For Greenville, attacker Jared McPeek had two shots on goal, and Luis Duran added one shot on goal. Greenville's team came up with eight shots in the match.

The Panthers (6-7, 2-2 SLIAC) host Eureka on Friday at 5 p.m. in GU's Homecoming match.
