Mark is entering his second season as a member of the coaching staff. Previously he competed for Greenville College on the soccer field being a member of teams that won two SLIAC Conference championships and earning two berths to the NCAA DIII National Tournament. While a student at Greenville College, he obtained his degree in Recreation with an emphasis in Sports Management. Currently he is working towards his MAE in Coaching.
Before coming to Greenville, Ward served as an assistant coach for McKendree University during the 2014-2015 season. His duties while there were to help coordinate and execute training sessions.
At Greenville, his duties include carrying out training sessions, planning travel, and also serves as the Director of Internal Recruiting. He also serves as the Director of Player Development for GlenEd soccer club in Edwardsville, IL. There he trains teams ranging from U8-U18.
Ward holds a USSF D License and an NSCAA National Diploma.
