Men's tennis grabs two more wins.

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's tennis team extended their perfect start to the season to 7-0 as they defeated Franklin 9-0 and Illinois College 8-1 on Saturday.

All nine flights were winners in the match against Franklin, headlined by a perfect 6-0, 6-0 win by No. 5 Justin Tilford.

No. 2 Gabriel Munoz took a 6-1, 6-0 win, and No. 4 Zach Plocher won 6-0, 6-1.

Other singles winners were No. 1 Nate Wieland, No. 3 Daniel Pieplow, and No. 6 Austin Burkhart.

In doubles, the No. 3 duo of Munoz and Burkhart won 8-3.

The No. 1 team of Wieland and Tilford teamed up for a victory, as did the No. 2 team of Plocher and Pieplow.

Scores from Greenville's win over Illinois College were not available at press time.

The Panthers will take their unblemished 7-0 record to Hilton Head, S.C., for their spring break trip beginning on March 12.
