ELSAH, Ill. - The men's tennis team suffered a 7-2 setback at Principia on Tuesday night.
Greenville earned wins in No. 4 singles and No. 6 singles in the match.
No. 4 Zach Merrill had to play a third set in his 2-6, 6-1, 6-2 win.
No. 6 Matt Lehr was a 6-4, 6-0 winner.
Greenville's matches at No. 1 and No. 2 doubles were tight. Ultimately, No. 1 Austin Burkhart and Mathew Rodriguez dropped an 8-5 match and No. 2 Luke Motsinger and Merrill fell 8-6.
The Panthers (6-6) play Westminster at GU on Thursday at 4 p.m.
