Davis and Sharp qualify for finals at NCAA championships

GENEVA, Ohio -- The men's track and field team had two men advance to the finals of the NCAA outdoor national championships after their performances on Friday.

Jeremiah Davis is running in the 100 meter finals after his 10.683 second time in the first heat of the 100 meter preliminaries was fourth.  Despite the fourth place mark in the fastest heat, Davis was able to move ahead to Saturday.

Andrew Sharp posted a time of 1:51.49 to take second in his heat of the 800 meter run and finish with the sixth best time in the event.

On Saturday, Davis will run in the 100 and 200, while Sharp participates in the 800.
