Men's indoor track and field turns in fourth at NCCAA championships

CEDARVILLE, Ohio -- The men's indoor track and field team was led by the national championship performance of its distance medley relay as they were fourth of 14 teams at the championships.

The DMR clocked a time of 10:21.

Three entries were national runners up.  Nathan Potts was second in the 800 with a time of 1:56.80.  Greg Mitchell reached a distance of 45 feet-4.5 inches in the triple jump.  Matt Hughes posted a mark of 4424 to finish second in the heptathlon.

Bobby Neal grabbed a third place mark in the 200 meter dash with a time of 22.62.

David Martin was third in the pentathlon with 4196 points.

The Panthers compete again at the SLIAC indoor invitational on Friday at Principia.
