Men's indoor track and field dominates SLIAC invitational

ELSAH, Ill. -- The men's indoor track and field team went to Principia where they competed in the SLIAC Invitational.  The team won with 266.5 points.

Bobby Neal had life-time best in 60 and 200. He was second in both events with times of 7.07 and 22.58

In the 200, Greenville placed five among the top eight.

Potts and Kimes ran great in 600 going 1-2.  Potts fell just short of his school record, and Kimes was a life-time best.

Jaylen Shelton won the mile and on the 800 (2:03) had little recovery.

John Mangold missed the school record by .45 in the 3000 meters and finished second in 8:39.90.

Dylan Goodyear went under 9 minutes for the second consecutive week in 8:59.

David Martin was a double winner.  He won the 60 meter hurdles in a personal best of 8.84 and pole vaulted a personal best 12 feet-4 inches.

Greg Mitchell was a double winner as he won the HJ with jump of 6-4.75 and also won the triple jump (44-5).

In the shot put, Greenville went 1-2-3 with Hooten,Washington and Radtke throwing  44-9, 43-11, and 38-4.

The weight throw was similar.  Greenville went 2-3-4 and had Ben Perry get second (48-9).

The Panthers go to Wisconsin-Stevens Point for a meet next weekend.
