Men's track and field finishes second at Greenville Select Meet

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The men's track and field team ranked second to No. 21 Washington-St. Louis in a field of 16 teams at the Greenville Select Meet on Saturday.

Cory Stoll took the win in the long jump when he lept to a mark of 7.20 meters (23 feet-7.5 inches).

Blake Thebeau posted first place in the hammer with an effort of 53.69 meters (176-2).

Colton Rich won the javelin with a toss of 53.96 meters (177-0).

The 4x100 meter relay team won with a time of 41.93 seconds. The team included Chase LaTouche, Stoll, Kourtland Harris, and Ayden Cothern.

Jeremiah Perry posted a first place time in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 10:05.50.

Cothern provided a win in the 100 meter dash with time of 10.77 seconds.

Greenville's Lawrence Harris provided a third place effort in the high jump, recording a jump of 1.85 meters (6-0.75).

Austin Ball raced to a time of 16.03 seconds in the 110 meter hurdles.

The Panthers will compete at Rose-Hulman in a twilight meet on Friday, April 19.
