Men's volleyball falls in three sets to Benedictine

GREENVILLE, Ill. — The men's volleyball team suffered a three-set setback to Benedictine on Saturday in Greenville.  Benedictine won 25-20, 25-20, 25-17.

Manuel Benitez was Greenville's leading offensive producer with 14 kills in 27 attack attempts.

Johnny Milabu produced two solo blocks and two block assists, and Kyle Ward had five block assists.

Andrew Johnson collected 15 digs as he led Greenville's defense.

Tanner Smith added 25 assists and eight digs.

Greenville only hit at a .132 rate with 27 kills and 15 errors in 91 attacks.

The Panthers (2-3, 0-2 MCVL) host Fontbonne on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
