Men's volleyball defeated at Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The men's volleyball team completed their road trip east with a four set loss at Wittenberg on Saturday.  The team was led by Johnny Milabu and Isaiah Canales who combined for 20 kills and just one error in 28 attempts.

Milabu posted 11 kills and one error while hitting at a .667 rate, and Canales had nine kills without any errors in 13 attempts to post a .692 hitting percentage.

The Panthers fell in the first set 25-12, but they played the rest of the sets close.  Greenville dropped the second set 25-23, won the third set 25-23, and then concluded the match with a 25-21 loss in the fourth set.

Andrew Johnson defended Wittenberg's attacks with 15 digs.

Canales and Manuel Benitez each had three block assists.

Benitez was the top producer in kills with 17.

The Panthers (5-12, 1-11 MCVL) will host Carthage on Friday at 7 p.m.
