NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team opened their concluding weekend with a four-set loss at North Central on Friday night. The Panthers won the third set as they lost the match 25-22, 27-25, 22-25, 25-22.
Greenville recorded an overall hitting percentage of .152 and stayed in every set despite North Centrals hitting mark of over .250.
Manuel Benitez continued his high level of play with a team high 19 kills in the match.
Johnny Milabu and Isaiah Canales posted hitting marks over .400 as Milabu provided a 10 kill, .474 and Canales chipped in a 10 kill, .421.
Tanner Smith had a solid outing on both offense and defense as he tallied 39 assists and a team-high 10 digs.
The Panthers (9-16) travel to Loras for their final match of the season on Saturday.
