Men's volleyball topped 3-1 at Wittenberg

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio -- The men's volleyball team suffered a four-set loss at Wittenberg on Friday night.

Greenville dropped the first two sets 25-22, 25-17 before winning the third set 25-21.

The fourth set and match went back to Wittenberg 25-18.

The Panthers were led on offense by Nick Corrigan with 13 kills, and Kyle Ward had eight kills.

The defensive effort was paced by Tanner Smith and Logan Dameris each with six digs.

The Panther play at the net produced 10 blocks.  Isaiah Canales tallied two solo blocks and three block assists.

Overall, Greenville hit at a .292 rate with 40 kills and 12 errors in 96 attempts.

The Panthers (8-11, 1-3 MCVL) face Mt. St. Joseph in Cincinnati on Saturday.
