Men's volleyball suffers loss

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The men's volleyball team rallied after facing a match point in the fourth set to force a fifth set tiebreaker, but they fell short in the final set during a loss to Augustana on Friday night.

Augustana won 25-22, 22-25, 25-21, 24-26, 15-10.

Johnny Milabu breezed past his season high for kills in a match as he ended with 15 in the five setter.  He only produced one error and hit at a .519 rate.

Tanner Smith had 44 set assists as he helped Nick Corrigan and Kyle Ward each get 11 kills.  Smith also led in digs with 12.

Greenville's blocking efforts were led by Milabu with three solo and three block assists.

The Panthers (10-17, 1-6 MCVL) conclude their season on Saturday with matches against Loras and Maranatha Baptist.
