Johnny Milabu honored as MCVL second team

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa - The Midwest Collegiate Volleyball League announced its All-Conference selections for the 2018 season. Winners are determined by a vote of the head coaches following the conclusion of the regular season.  Johnny Milabu was selected as a member of the second team.

Milabu produced a highly effective junior season for the Panthers.  Milabu played every set for the Panthers this season and was second on the team with 187 kills.  His hitting percentage of .341 was tops among Greenville's attackers.

At the net, Milabu was highly effective at blocking.  He had the highest number of solo blocks on the team with 20 and was second with 65 block assists.  He only had six block errors.

He is the third Panther all-time to be honored on the MCVL's all-conference team, and Greenville joins Carthage and Mt. St. Joseph as one of only three schools to have a member of its team on the all-conference team for the last three seasons.

The Panthers concluded their third season with a record of 11-18 (1-8 MCVL).
