  • Cross country teams earn USTFCCA scholar team honors; GC women tops in NCAA Division III

    The men's and women's cross country teams have been honored with U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) scholar team honors for the 2016 season. The Greenville women's cross country team posted a GPA of 3.84 which was tops on the NCAA Division III list.
  • Cross country and track and field programs hire Scott Wilson as assistant coach

    The men's and women's cross country and track and field programs have hired Scott Wilson as their newest assistant coach. He will serve as specialty coach for the sprinters and brings with him over 20 years of successful collegiate coaching experience.
  • Greenville College teams collect fall awards

    The fall athletic teams at Greenville College collected an expansive list of honors as their seasons concluded. The accolades include the college's first football NCAA Division III All-American, one conference positional player of the year award, two conference coach of year awards, one team conference sportsmanship award, two conference newcomer of the year awards, 11 first team all-conference honors, three first team NCCAA designations, and a conference high 39 SLIAC all-academic team honors.
  • Men's cross country produces 21st place finish in NCAA regional

    The men's cross country team gained a 21st place performance on Saturday at the NCAA Division III Midwest Regional at Lake Breeze Golf Club. The Panthers were competing intercollegiately for the first time since winning the SLIAC championship.
  • Men's cross country uses strong pack to run to 13th SLIAC championship

    The men's cross country team was able to pick up the program's 13th SLIAC men's cross country championship title thanks to a strong team showing on Saturday. The Panthers did not have a runner in the top five but took the sixth through 11th spots.

    The men's cross country team finished in first place at the Millikin H.W. Wright Classic held at the Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur.
  • Men's cross country performs well at Augustana

    Participating in their largest meet of the year thus far, the men's cross country team earned fourth place in a field of 31 teams. Senior Jacob Burrell was the leading runner for the Panthers as he produced a time of 27:04 over the eight kilometer course and finished 14th in the field.

    The men's cross country team finished second at the Olivet Nazarene Midwest Classic at Aspen Ridge Golf Course on Friday.
  • Men's cross country third at Washington University early bird meet

    The men's cross country team traveled to St. Louis to participate in the Washington University Early Bird meet. The men came back with a third place showing of seven teams within their division.
