Men's cross country wins Bradley Pink Classic

PEORIA, Ill. -- The men's cross country team was the first place team at the Bradley Pink Classic on Friday where Andrew Sharp posted a first place overall finish.

Sharp led Greenville with a time of 26:13 to collect his first victory in a meet this season.

John Mangold followed 43 seconds later with a fourth place finish.

Nathan Potts checked in fifth with a time of 27:03.

Jaylen Shelton and Dylan Goodyear comprised the remainder of Greenville's 32 points with 10th and 12th place rankings, respectively. Shelton crossed the finish line in 27:35, and Goodyear was four seconds back.

The Panthers will take a week off as they prepare for the SLIAC championships on October 28 in Litchfield.
