The NCCAA formally inducted Greenville University head men’s and women’s cross country and track and field coach Brian Patton into the organization’s Hall of Fame at a banquet on Thursday, May 30, in South Carolina.
The NCCAA has announced that Greenville University head men's and women's cross country and track and field coach Brian Patton will be inducted into the NCCAA Hall of Fame as a member of the Class of 2019. He will be joined by Dr. Keith Connor (Southern Wesleyan University), Judy Fox (Ignite International), and Chet Kammerer (Grace College) with a formal induction at the NCCAA Hall of Fame Banquet on Thursday, May 30, at the NCCAA Annual Convention in Greenville, S.C.
The 2018 SLIAC champion men's cross country team ran in the NCAA Midwest Regional in Wisconsin on Saturday and were led by senior John Mangold as they placed 20th of the 35 competing teams.
The men's cross country team competed at the Bradley University Pink Classic and encountered snow on Friday afternoon. The men's team was fourth of 13 complete teams at the event.
