Men's cross country opens season in St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - The men's cross country team opened their season with a meet at Washington-St. Louis. The Panthers were second in the meet with a team score of 50 points.

Joshua Medlin was Greenville's first finisher, clocking a time of 20:16 in 12th place. Gianni Estrada was right behind Medlin with a time of 20:16.

GU's third place runner was Isaiah Atkins whose 20:24 was 14th.

Drake Rutledge posted a time of 20:24 for 14th place, and Tony Lakotich completed Greenville's score with 16th place and a time of 20:41.

The Panthers will next compete at Illinois State on Friday, Sept. 15.
