GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The Greenville softball team has been placed in the NCAA regional hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater. The Lady Panthers qualified for their second straight NCAA national tournament by winning the championship of the SLIAC tournament.
Greenville (24-15) will play Trine on Thursday. It is a double-elimination regional.
The winner of the Whitewater Regional will face the winner of the La Crosse Regional.
The Lady Panthers have faced a number of opponents in the NCAA field, including Central, Wisconsin-La Crosse, and Washington-St. Louis.
