ST. LOUIS, Mo. -- The women's basketball team was off target all night as they endured a 68-38 defeat by Fontbonne after defeating the Griffins by 18 earlier in the season.

Fontbonne's 23-4 advantage after one quarter set the tone as Greenville couldn't catch up.  Fontbonne extended the lead to 47-17 by halftime and 60-27 after three quarters.

The Lady Panthers were hurt by 26 turnovers in the contest.

Greenville's leading scorer was Wesley Woodard with seven points.

Laura Goodnight and Morgan St. James each had eight rebounds while Claire Schmitt chipped in four assists.

The Lady Panthers (13-8, 8-4 SLIAC) travel to Spalding for a game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
