Women's basketball records dominating win over MacMurray

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's basketball team continued their perfect run through conference play with a 99-45 win over MacMurray.  Laura Goodnight returned to action after missing 10 games and led Greenville with 16 points off the bench.

The Panthers grabbed a 41 point lead at halftime as they opened with a 30-9 first quarter advantage and outpaced MacMurray 32-12 in the second quarter for a 62-21 lead at halftime.

The third quarter was all Greenville as they led 82-28 going into the final quarter.  The teams posted a 17-all final stanza.

Goodnight was effective behind the three-point arc as she made 4-of-5 three pointers to go along with a pair of two-point buckets.

Maria Reinhard gave Greenville 15 points, seven assists, and four steals as she produced a solid effort.

Meredith Crosier posted 12 points and a team-high two blocked shots, and Wesley Woodard paced Greenville on the boards with seven rebounds.

The Panthers (10-2, 5-0 SLIAC) travel to Blackburn for a game on Saturday at 1 p.m.
