GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's basketball team rolled to a 77-49 win over Iowa Wesleyan in a Monday afternoon matinee. Hannah Krukewitt came off the bench to post a game-high 13 points for the Panthers.
Krukewitt made 5-of-10 field goal attempts, 1-of-4 three-pointers, and 2-of-2 free throws.
Greenville's scoring ran throughout the lineup as 12 players tallied points.
Lauren Eagleson and Madelyn Stephen added nine points each for GU.
The Panthers took a 15-9 lead after the first quarter and extended it to 44-22 at halftime behind eight first half points from Rachel Fettig.
Greenville put even more distance between them and their opponents with a 19-7 advantage in the third quarter.
Eagleson paced GU with seven assists and three steals. Krukewitt also added three steals.
Emily Reinneck led the roster with eight rebounds.
The Panthers (9-6, 6-2 SLIAC) will complete their first loop through conference play with a game at home against Eureka on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. The win Monday put the Panthers in a second place tie with Fontbonne in the SLIAC standings.
