GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's basketball team celebrated senior day as they honored Megan Barrett, Katie Wolfram, Rachel Fettig, Morgan St. James, Brittany Lopez, and Hannah Krukewitt and then dominated Principia in a 70-50 win.
The Panthers led 24-15 after the first quarter and 44-18 at halftime as they set the tone early.
Principia outscored Greenville 32-26 in the second half, but the rally was not enough.
Madelyn Stephen posted 14 points as the Panthers' top scorer.
Krukewitt supplied 10 points and a team-high seven rebounds.
Lopez was the team leader with seven assists. Lopez and Rachel Fettig had GU's high steal total with three each.
The Panthers (14-9, 11-5 SLIAC) travel to Blackburn for a game on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
