Women's soccer nipped by Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- The women's soccer team was defeated 1-0 on Tuesday in a tightly contested soccer match at Rose-Hulman.

Greenville produced three shots on goal but could not slip anything past Rose-Hulman.

The match was scoreless until Rose-Hulman got a ball past goalkeeper Marjory Coates in the 79th minute.

Coates picked up three saves in her first start as Greenville's goalkeeper.

Dani Pearce, Kate Arthur, and Morgan Jetton had shots on goal.

The Panthers (1-1) host Coe at 5 p.m. on Friday.
