CARLINVILLE, Ill. -- The women's tennis team was successful on their trip to Blackburn as they came back with an 8-1 win.

Greenville received victories in all three doubles matches.

No. 1 team Allison Fennewald and Courtney Blaser won 9-7.  No. 2 Brooke Bryant and Maddi Walsh were 8-2 winners, and No. 3 Christina Bowman and Breanna Thomas topped Blackburn 8-2.

No. 1 Fennewald won her singles match 6-4, 6-2.  No. 3 Bowman was a 6-2, 6-4 winner.

No. 4 Walsh came out ahead 6-0, 6-1, No. 5 Thomas took a 6-1, 6-0 victory, and No. 6 Maddie Saffel won 6-0, 6-0.

The Lady Panthers (1-4) host Rend Lake on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
