GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's tennis team blanked Illinois Tech on Saturday afternoon in a 9-0 decision.
The Panthers captured wins in the seven matches contested and won in No. 3 doubles and No. 6 singles by default.
The No. 1 doubles duo of Mireia Birosta and Addison Brannon and the No. 2 doubles tandem of Callie Adkins and Stephanie Kamp were both 8-1 winners.
In singles, No. 1 Birosta took a 6-3, 6-4 win, and No. 2 Brannon topped her opponent 6-0, 6-3.
No. 3 Adkins was a 6-1, 6-3 winner, and No. 4 Natalia Higashi captured a 6-1, 6-0 win.
No. 5 Emily Buratovich rolled to an easy 6-0, 6-1 victory.
The Panthers (4-10) continue their season at home on Monday against Principia at 5 p.m.
