Chelsea is senior from Groveland, Ill. As a Greenville College sprinter, Gilles has competed in the 60, 200, 300, 400, 500, and 4x200 events. She holds school records in the 200 (25.55), 300 (41.18), 400 (56.62), 500 (1:18.56), and 4x200 (1:48.66). She has qualified for the NCCAA national championships this season in the 60, 200, and 400.

Gilles achieves national runner-up finish in 400May 28, 2016The women's track and field team took 34th place in the NCAA national championships on Saturday as junior sprinter Chelsea Gilles finished second in the 400 meter dash in the NCAA Division III outdoor national championships. Gilles became the squad's first NCAA outdoor All-American since 2012 and one of two female competitors to ever finish as a national runner-up.
