GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's track and field team finished fifth on Friday at the Greenville Select Meet as the Lady Panthers accrued 57.33 points.
Chelsea Gilles was Greenville's lone event winner as she took the championship of the 400 meter dash in 55.56 seconds.
Greenville posted four other top four finishes:
Gilles, 2nd, 200 meter dash, 25.04 seconds
Lia Kruse, 3rd, 5000 meter run, 19:09.64
4x100 meter relay (Gilles, Jayda Fowler, Janisha Pealer, Rachel Hanna), 4th, 49.86 seconds
Megan McKee, 4th, 3000 meter steeplechase, 12:52.81
The women return to action on Friday at Rose-Hulman.
