Women's track and field ends seventh at Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The women's track and field team ended seventh at the Washington University meet on Saturday.  The Panthers did not compete with all of their women due to weather.

The women's hammer was a good event. They had three in the top eight, including the event champion Marideth Tate with a mark of 134 feet, 8 inches.

Savannah Maloney won the discus with a throw of 110-4, and she was third in the shot put.

Lia Kruse posted a 5:07 to finish fourth in the 1500 meter run.

The Panthers return to Washington University next Friday and Saturday.
