Women's track and field takes fourth at Washington-St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. — The women's track and field team took fourth place of 13 teams at Washington-St. Louis over the weekend. The Panthers collected 50 points in the meet.

Greenville was headlined by Marideth Tate's second place performance in the hammer throw. She posted a distance of 41.05 meters.

A number of Panther entries recorded fourth place marks.

Savannah Maloney was fourth in the javelin throw with a distance of 28.51 meters. Rachel Hanna posted a fourth place performance in the triple jump with a leap of 10.12 meters. The 4x100 relay team finished in 52.55 seconds to take fourth, and Lia Kruse completed the 1500 meter run in a fourth place time of 4:58.11.

The Panthers return to action at Millikin next Saturday.
