Women's track and field receive sixth at Rose-Hulman

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. — The women's track and field team competed on Friday at the Rose-Hulman Twilight. They were sixth of 10 teams.

Marideth Tate was second in the hammer throw with a distance of 45.34 meters (148 feet-9 inches).

Rachel Stutzman provided a third place time in the 5000 (22:08.27).

Shirley Estes clocked a time of 12:50.61 in the 3000 meter steeplechase for fourth overall.

Kylar Craig cleared a height of 1.45 meters (4-9) to gain fifth place in the high jump.

The 4x400 meter relay team was fifth and recorded a time of 4:28.09.

The Panthers will host the SLIAC and AMC championships on Friday and Saturday.
