Women's track and field wins five SLIAC titles

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's track and field team earned the second place position at the SLIAC championships on Friday and Saturday.  The Panthers gained 191.5 points to finish second to Webster by 69 points.  No other team had even one-quarter of Greenville's points (Fontbonne, 45).

Kylar Craig was the winner in the high jump with a clearance of 1.47 meters (4 feet-9.75 inches).

Rachel Hanna earned the SLIAC championship in the pole vault with a mark of 3.18 meters (10-5.25).

Marideth Tate collected the championship in the hammer throw with an effort of 46.28 meters (151-10).

Taylor Tucker earned her position as fastest women's runner at the meet with a 12.72 second time in the 100 meter dash.

Megan McKee captured first place in the 3000 meter steeplechase with a time of 12:18.66.

The Panthers will next compete at Monmouth next Saturday.
