Women's track and field ends 11th at Greenville Select

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's track and field team collected five points in their 11th place finish at the sixth annual Greenville Select meet on Saturday.

Greenville received three points from their 4x100 meter relay team.

Cayden Sharp, Jessica Staley, Tyla Anderson, and Haniah Davis ranked sixth in the 4x100 with a trip around the track in 50.82 seconds.

Staley finished eighth as an individual in the 400 meter dash as she clocked a time of 1:00.73.

Davis took the ninth place position in the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.04 seconds.

Savannah Maloney was 10th in the javelin throw with a top distance of 28.83 meters (94 feet-7 inches).

Deborah Cunningham's effort of 40.82 meters (133-11) was 10th best in the hammer throw.

The Panthers travel to Rose-Hulman for a meet on Friday.
