Women's track and field led by Sharp and Rodriguez at Greenville meet

GREENVILLE, Ill. - The women's track and field team competed in the annual Greenville Select Meet on Saturday. Cayden Sharp picked up a pair of wins while Tawny Rodriguez finished first in one of her events.

Sharp was the winner in the triple jump with a distance of 11.10 meters (36 feet-5 inches).

Sharp also won the 100 meter hurdles in a time of 15.24 seconds.

Rodriguez placed first in the shot put, producing a mark of 12.95 meters (42-6).

Rodriguez was also the second place finisher in the discus at 39.27 meters (128-10).

Alexa Seger posted a third place finish in the 100 meter dash, clocking a time of 12.82 seconds.

Greenville's 4x100 meter relay team of Alyssa Comer, Hannah Williams, Olivia Mansfield, and Leah Brown was third in the 4x400 meter relay, recording a time of 4:28.74.

The Panthers will return to the track on Friday, April 23, at Rose-Hulman.
