The Greenville University Athletic Department has announced senior graduate Cayden Sharp as the winner of the 2022 June Strahl award as its top senior female student-athlete.
The women's track and field team completed their participation in the NCAA Division III national championships with an 11th place finish from Cayden Sharp in the heptathlon.
The women's track and field team was represented by Cayden Sharp in day one of the NCAA Division III national championships. Sharp competed in four events of the heptathlon, ranking second among the field of competitors in the high jump and finishing day one in seventh place.

Greenville University and its Athletic Department is saddened by the unexpected passing of Dr. Dave Holden who died on Monday evening at the age of 60. Holden held appointments at Greenville University as an assistant men's and women's track and field coach, dean of graduate and adult studies, senior advisor to the president, and cabinet member.
