Women's volleyball rolls to three set win over Stephens

GREENVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team swept Stephens in three sets on Saturday as they used an 11 kill performance by Savannah Sells to dominate in a 25-18, 25-17, 25-23 win.

The Lady Panthers converted over 26 percent of its attacks into kills as they picked up 36 kills in the match.

Allyson Mitchell gave Greenville nine kills and three service aces in the victory.

Janisha Pealer provided a solid effort at libero as she had 16 digs.

Brittni Bell performed well at the net with one solo block and three block assists.  Sierah Ruffner tallied four block assists, and Sells and Cheyenne Vaca each had three block assists.

Kirsten Laune led Greenville with 19 assists as she split the setting duties with Alex Falcone who added 12 assists.

The Lady Panthers (12-4) travel to Blackburn on Thursday.
