Women's volleyball defeats Blackburn on road

CARLINVILLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team won their second straight match with a three set win over Blackburn in SLIAC play on Thursday.  The Lady Panthers won 25-16, 25-23, 25-15.

Greenville hit at a rate better than 30 percent in the match as they collected 44 kills and 19 errors in 99 attacks.

Sierah Ruffner provided offensive punch from the middle position, recording 14 kills in 22 attacks.  She committed just four errors.

Allyson Mitchell piled up 13 kills and team-highs with three service aces and 12 digs during the evening.

The Lady Panthers (13-4, 8-2 SLIAC) travel to Millikin for matches on Friday against Kenyon and the host Millikin.
