Women's volleyball splits day one at Benedictine

LISLE, Ill. -- The women's volleyball team lost their first match of October against MSOE but bounced right back with a three set sweep over Dominican to split their matches on Friday.

Brittni Bell had a monster outing against MSOE with 17 kills from the middle position.  Anna Finch posted an 11 kill match, and Allyson Mitchell added 10 kills.

Allyson Grabowski led the team in digs with 18, and Alex Falcone provided 32 assists.

Greenville's game came to life in match two of the evening as Bell and Mitchell each posted 11 kills.

Grabowski paced the defense with 21 digs, and Finch and Sarah Watts contributed four block assists.

The Panthers (23-5) saw their season winning streak snapped at 10, and they continue Benedictine's event against Elmhurst and Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday.
